AERO 201 – The First Week
AERO is glad to invite both its members and guests from the aviation community to its second Zoom webinar in the educational series on aviation accident response.

In this second webinar, titled “AERO 201” we will be discussing the procedures that ought to be followed in the first week following an aircraft accident such as the transfer of duties from the affected station to the airline family assistance and accident investigation go team, logistics for the establishment of the family assistance center (FAC), family briefings, managing traditional media, and social media, support to hospitalized survivors, accident investigation process, forensic operations, family site visits, initial memorial services, aircraft removal, processing of personal effects, insurance, and upfront payments and preparing for FAC closeouts among others.
