“It seems like AERO is very US-centric. I work and live in another country. What will the upcoming Aviation Symposium and AERO Membership do for us?”
Speaking for those of us in the UK, I can say plenty!
Aviation is a global industry, and around the world responders and planners are hungry for information and insight into these rare but high impact events. While aviation accidents and incidents are investigated differently in many countries, the expertise provided with AERO membership is invaluable. From family assistance to legal proceedings, regulatory standards to emergency preparedness, AERO members have a wide range of experiences that span the globe.
We have discussed aviation accidents investigated as criminal acts, ICAO processes and expectations and much more. When we do webinars, attendees have come from all over the world and nearly every continent (we are still waiting on someone from Antarctica!) The engagement and experience means we can talk with professionals from around the globe and have something important to offer each member.
The upcoming 20th Anniversary Aviation Symposium, sponsored by Fox Rothschild, will have a broad range of topics and conversations that will interest every emergency responder, airline executive, regulator, investigator and support consultant, whether US based or international. And don’t forget our annual AERO membership meeting that kicks off the Symposium on Tuesday, February 4th at 1600 hours. We will have a panel of AERO Board members answering your questions and discussing current events. An amazing welcome cocktail reception follows in Salon 1, on the 5th floor, at 1730 hours.
I hope you will join your fellow AERO members at this year’s Symposium and AERO General meeting. The link to register for the free symposium is at the top of the AERO homepage.
We will see you at the Ritz Carlton Tysons Corner in February!
