Stephanie Smith is responsible for Emergency Response Planning and Business Continuity for both the International and Domestic portions of Icelandair. Icelandair recently merged its international airline, based in Keflavík, Iceland, with the Domestic and Regional airline centered around Reykjvík, Iceland. Icelandair also operates flights for its sister companies Loftleiðir Icelandic (charter and leasing operations) and Icelandair Cargo. Icelandair is a member of IATA.
Stephanie has been a member of the IATA Emergency Response Planners Working Group, and has spoken at ER related industry events both in Iceland and abroad. She holds a B.S and M.Eng in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering and an MBA, all from Cornell University. She has been working in Emergency Response Planning for over 15 years.
