
Barbara Webster is the Executive Vice President of the Americas for GoCrisis, looking after North America, Central and South America, and the Caribbean. Barbara is a renowned Crisis & Business Continuity, expert. She was most recently the Senior Director of Emergency Response and Business Continuity at Spirit Airlines for nine years before joining GoCrisis. She has over 30 years of experience in the field of emergency management, which began in the oil & gas sector in Canada. Prior to her career at Spirit Airlines in Florida, she successfully developed and led WestJet Airlines’ Emergency Response and Family Assistance programs for nine years in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Barbara is known internationally as an accomplished presenter, trainer, and facilitator, having spoken at symposia and conferences around the world on the topics of aviation emergency response, business continuity planning, humanitarian assistance, and emergency working groups for airports. She is a citizen of both the United States and Canada and is currently based out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Barbara is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Aviation Emergency Response Organizations (AERO), having been one of the Founding Board Members and its former Chair prior to accepting the role with GoCrisis.
