The AERO Annual Membership Meeting will take place on February 6, 2018 and will be held in conjunction with The LeClairRyan 2018 Aviation Symposium at the Ritz Carlton, McLean, VA.\u00a0 AERO Board Members will meet from 3 \u2013 4 pm in Salon III and general Members will meet from 4:30 \u2013 5:30\u00a0pm in the same room.\u00a0 We look forward to seeing you there!<\/p>\n

We wanted to provide you with an update on AERO efforts over the past year and to let you know that membership dues paid in 2017 will cover 2018 membership.<\/p>\n

AERO Spring Webinar:\u00a0<\/em><\/h4>\n

The last year presented a series of unique challenges to all aspects of the aviation and the transportation industry.\u00a0 This has included natural disasters and criminal events to name a few. Emergency response personnel throughout the industry have found themselves responding to hurricanes, airport terror attacks and active shooters. Is the definition and scope of an aviation\/transportation emergency changing?<\/p>\n

In Spring 2018, AERO will present a webinar that examines the changing face of aviation emergencies.\u00a0 You\u2019ll hear from those who have managed these issues, and how their companies prepare and respond, as well as how the role of emergency response personnel is changing. \u00a0Lessons learned will be discussed, as well as what you should do in order to avoid mistakes if you find yourself in the midst of one of these presented emergencies.<\/p>\n

Whether you\u2019re an airline, a corporate flight department, an airport or some other member of this industry, this is going to be a discussion you can\u2019t miss.\u00a0 Additional details regarding this webinar will be provided at the AERO meeting on February 6, 2018.<\/p>\n
