Penni Nelson oversees the procurement and maintenance of corporate domestic and international insurance for Hillwood Development Group, L.P- a Perot Company. Hillwood is a leader in the development and acquisition of industrial, office, and multifamily properties across North America and Europe. She also oversees the insurance requirements for Hillwood’s aviation department including their newest Part 121 Supplemental Air Carrier, Hillwood Airways, LLC. Hillwood Airways is the FAA’s second airline to meet the Part 5 Safety Management Systems for Air Carriers rule during initial certification of Part 121 Supplemental.
Ms. Nelson is Past President of the Dallas Fort Worth Chapter of the Risk and Insurance Management Society. She is also a current board member for the Surplus Lines Stamping Office of Texas and RIMS (Risk and Insurance Management Society). Penni holds a B.S. in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. She also holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), and Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designations. Penni is licensed for Property & Casualty as well as Risk Manager in the State of Texas.
